a resend at _6 <snip> I assume there was a server glitch, since they are supposedly disabled
No glitch, normal behavior.
Work generation is not running, but resends continue as needed for WUs for which timeouts, aborts, and invalids mean there is not yet an outstanding quorum.
To great extent I don't care about the electricity I use for crunching because I live in the land of cheap hydro and I heat with it anyway. Also I just looked and I should be good for 28 more hours.

LOL well I have lived in Washington State for 58 years and I don't remember the hydro power ever being cheap......especially running 6 GeForce cards 24/7
Magic I live about 40 miles SE of you and my last PSE bill shows my tier 2 rate @ .116 $ per KWh. That's pretty cheap compared to most of the rest of the world.

Well hi neighbor!
Well the problem we have here in Jefferson County as the local loons actually voted to replace PSE with PUD
We had Puget Power here for over 90 years too
And I grew up in the family since my Dad retired as the head of the PSE Systems Operation after 30 years (he passed away April 4th)
I remember fun of being at the Renton steam plant back in the early 1960's and the other Puget Power places.
It used to be called Puget Sound Power and Light and they had a lake they also used called Lake Tapps where we went every summer in the 60's
So as you can imagine I didn't vote to have PSE leave us and switch to these PUD clowns

If it's any consolation, there appear to still be plenty of work units for my Intel HD 4600....... GTX 980 Ti is running dry though.
