I haven't been able to pick up GPU tasks (I disabled CPU ones) on my laptop. I have a i5-4200u (HD 4400 graphics)
I have installed the suggested 15.40 [4th gen] driver for windows 10.. but .. it still isn't picking up work.
Edit: I don't have a dummy plug but I was under the impression that was only required if you have a dedicated GPU... please don't tell me I need to build one of those for a laptop that very much is able to use it's gpu.
I've got a Gigabyte Z77-DS3H motherboard, an i5 3570K CPU, and an AMD Radeon R9 290 graphics card. I cannot enable the Intel GPU. I've tried a dummy plug. Bug in the BIOS apparently, you can't use Intel graphics and PCI graphics at once. It's enabled in the BIOS, but Windows will not see it. So I guess I'm wasting my Intel GPU, but the Radeon is 100 times faster so I guess it's not too bad. I could update the BIOS, but it's not a big enough problem to warrant messing about with that.
If this page takes an hour to load, reduce posts per page to 20 in your settings, then the tinpot 486 Einstein uses can handle it.
It's probably buried somewhere in this thread but judging from the scheduler log it should be 10.18.10.3906 (max).
I've got a computer which reports version 20.19.15.4331! And it's running Einstein on the IGPU ok. The driver version is different depending where you look, I remember when setting it up, Windows 10 automatically put version 10 on it, I went to the Intel site and got 15, but it said "no, 10 is more than 15"?!? Now it's saying 20 in the device manager. Who knows!

setting the primary display options options in the bios/efi to pcie 1st will enable the igpu when its not the primary display.
then go run the intel graphics update utility to get the latest drivers for your chip.
This is because newer Intel GPUs with newer drivers almost always fails to produce valid tasks. So the admins have limited the Intel GPU work to certain driver versions.
To get work for newer Intel GPUs with newer driver versions one must enable "Run test applications" in the project prefs found here
If you do enable "Test applications" please check on the results of your tasks and if you end up getting lots of invalid tasks please consider not using your Intel GPU until this issue can be resolved.

Yep, that's why I changed to call their drivers "*.3621" instead of e.g. 10.18.10.3621, because as far as I can tell that's all that matters.
The 1st reports of Haswell GPUs working with newer drivers are about 1 year old, if I remember correctly.
And for Skylake there's still no working driver at all, me and others tried every beta driver since their release last september.

just write a generation CPU and motherboard, the year of release is still a difference of 20%.
For example pentium 4:Willamette,Northwood,Gallatin,Prescott,Prescott 2M,Cedar Mill-the names are different and one generation.
If i see guided on the directory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and there is a small difference a read on the top of the processor.
