I will chase you off the throne with four dozen eggs with a sell by date in mid-April that I have decided not to cook. Some of them may be frozen.

They make some very good drugs that will bring that guy, and his wife, back into the 21st century!! Or maybe he's already ON some but got some that were laced with rat poison or something!!

He reminds me of the panhandlers we have on the street corners near me, if you look closely not one of them has even ONE hair out of place nor more than a few hours old beard!!! Pretty darned good for someone who is 'homeless'!!! Lots of people have scams, that Aussie guy is just spreading his far and wide whereas most try to keep it fairly contained so they can keep control of the situation. It might be interesting to question the guy though, see if he can come up with the names of the other people around him when he was around 2000 years ago, using the names at the time and NOT the names we English speaking people call them that he can get from books or even the internet today.

After seeing your post I went outside at about 9:00 UTC
and observed for about 10 minutes (all I could do as I was at work : )
During that time I saw ONE meteor !
