I have no pending uploads currently, and have not noticed upload delays from here recently. Here is in the western USA, in case that matters.
When you suspect server trouble, you may sometimes find this Einstein server status page useful. It is well to look at it often enough to form an impression of what normal looks like.
Yes I can get to the E@H web site, but the Server Status page does not list "upload Servers" that I can see
BOINC Manage says
12/9/2015 10:48:54 AM | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
12/9/2015 10:48:55 AM | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.
Guess I'll just have to let BOINC Manger keep pinging the servers until it connects
If this was a wide spread problem I would expect to have problem myself and there would probably be more posts about it, so it seems to be a problem either on your side or something between you and the servers.
If you go to Boinc manager -> Options -> Event log options and check "file_xfer" (should be top left option) then post the log from the event log from something like "09/12/2015 23:02:01 | Einstein@Home | Started upload of PM0076_01571_180_0_0" to the end of the error messages then maybe we would get a better picture as to what's preventing you to upload results to the server.
Sorry, I've restarted BOINC Manager since then, so the log entries are gone
Not permanently. They are stored in a file called 'stdoutdae.txt' in your BOINC data folder, and if that gets full, it's kept for a while longer in 'stdoutdae.old'
I just restarted again, and have NO entries regarding the two results stuck in pending upload NONE
I'm not sure I fully understand what you are saying. From your original description of, "... two results pending upload ...", I took that to mean that on the transfers tab of BOINC Manager, you had two files listed for transfer that would fail to do so each time the operation was (re)tried. My understanding is that the back-off time between retries will increase but the items will remain on the list until the transfer finally succeeds. There may well be an upper limit on the number of retries allowed but I wouldn't expect that limit to be reached all that quickly. On the tasks tab, there would be one task marked as "uploading" or "upload pending" or something like that.
Your most recent statement above seems to be saying that those two items have 'disappeared' from the transfers list as a result of a simple 'restart'. Also, you appear to be indicating that there is no longer an entry for this task on the tasks tab. Is this a correct understanding of the problem?
If so, that's a bit puzzling because I've seen similar situations in the past where a system keeps doggedly trying to upload files, even after the deadline is long gone, and I haven't been able to get it to stop trying. I've tried restarting, aborting the transfer and even aborting the task itself to no avail. I saw an example recently on one of my machines of a stuck transfer going back to last April. I'm not bothered by this because I'm confident I know what happened in that particular case and it's not having any bad effect on the current performance of the host.
It would be quite interesting if you would browse your stdoutdae.txt, starting from the end and browsing backwards, looking for any references to the two names you provided. Just to clarify, these are two 'half-results' for the one task. The attempts to upload these two files should be accompanied by a message in stdoutdae.txt indicating the success or otherwise. I'm assuming you wont find evidence of a successful upload because that would have been followed later by a 'reporting' of the task.
The task is still showing on the website so it hasn't been reported. So it would be useful to see the attempts to upload, how many there were, and if there was anything different about the messages for the final upload attempt. If there is nothing left on your system now, there must have been some sort of final upload attempt. If you can get a time-stamp for when that was, it may help indicate if there was some other factor involved in the 'disappearance' of the files.

Can you advise the task numbers (or names) ?

No problems from Sweden either.
Are you able to reach http://einstein4.aei.uni-hannover.de/EinsteinAtHome/cgi-bin/file_upload_handler?
When I try that address in a browser I get:
If you open Boinc's Event log (Boinc Manager -> Advanced view -> Tools -> Event log) do you see any error messages about upload errors?

No problems in UK either.
Is it this host -> here the one with the problem?
If so i see, 9 Dec 2015, 22:54:30 UTC for a task being reported.
Has the problem cleared or are there (only) two tasks stuck in the "Ready to Report" state?
