Same here. But I had to try again and again manually.
Can I meanwhile copy my upload files to a floppy and send it per post? ;-)
Just make sure that you use one of those old-time eight-inch floppies.
That's far too modern - surely one has to give the dev's a challenge to get hold of our data - so I've copied all my results onto a HP 5451, and the data is stored in numerous 32kb bubble core memory units - each is about 4U high and 19" wide....so, I'll put them all on a pallet and send then by DHL ;)
The way I see it the upload server seems to persistently refuse any Gravitational Wave search WUs (when I attempt to upload those, the client instantaneously backs off). Everything else can be uploaded, although that is still fickle.
Looks like it's only one particular part of the entire project that's causing all the trouble.
Update: we enabled the uploads again - for testing purposes - but we couldn't yet really improve the performance. We may try a few other things but any major alternative setup like moving the entire dataset will have to wait until Monday, I'm afraid.
Best,
Oliver
I decided to check my laptop first thing when I woke up and I checked to see if the completed tasks that had been stuck in the transfer on the Boinc Manager and when I did a *retry* all 4 appeared to be transferred so I checked here to see if it said anything on my computer stats and that part didn't update and still says the laptop had not made contact since the 8th.

Ye Canna change the laws of physics !
Here's what should happen with Scotty on the job.
1. It Would get done in half the estimated time.
2. It would be 10X better than before.
3. Any nearby competing Boinc projects would be sabotaged and eliminated !

That's gotta be a surefire way to make sure the data gets there ;)

I woke up today and all my fans were idle!
I saw the notice in BOINC which led me here. Sorry to hear about the major malfunction! Hope all is well, I'll be keeping tabs on this thread.
