Okay, by (un)popular demand, here it is, the next round of: Einstein's very own, totally separate from the one on the server in Berkeley, jumbled word game.

Simple rules:
Winner posts a jumbled word or phrase.
Other people try to unjumble it.
The first person to do so, after it is confirmed by whoever posted it, posts the next word. If the poster doesn't confirm it within a reasonable time and the solver is absolutely sure, he/she may post the next one without confirmation.
Multiple posts, and multiple guesses within a post ARE allowed.
Silly definitions of obviously incorrect solutions are mandatory and will always be appreciated.
If no one gets it after a day or two, the poster may give hints.
Discussion of anything posted in the thread is allowed at any time, although it should stay at least somewhat related to the posts.
It is highly suggested that the poster either write down the correct word or send her/himself a PM with it.
Responses must be 'kid friendly' etc, etc, or they *will* be moderated.
Use of an internet word scrambling/descrambling site is considered cheating.

The new jumbled word is:

aacdeehinooprrst :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

Hmmm...
Alphabetic listing of letters, good ....
Plenty of vowels, reserve judgement ...
Large letters, bad .... I will have to cut bigger paper squares.

I'll be back ....

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Somebody's been fiddling with my rules. I was going to accuse Annie, but I investigated first and found that it was actually Gary.

Aaaaah... the

Aaaaah... the HardSnotoPieRace - after pudding yes - but you haven't LIVED till you've combined it with a jelly and spoon race :) boosts the immune system too they say :)

I do wish you would discourage your cousin from producing TheRancidRoeSoap though :/ REALLY dries up the mouth when you mistake it for caviar...

But... a most excellent collection of advanced vocabulary Mike!!! :)))) and no less than five letters in the correct positions too! :)

Maybe one day I'll tell you which ones :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

... Whatever they're

... Whatever they're prescribing in medical centres these days must be ...err... how shall I put it ... questionable ?? ...
Maybe the patients have taken over dosing the Docs ... so ... that's why the Docs have so much ... err ... enhanced paper square shuffling time ... on their hands!!

But ... I think the point is being missed here ... because ... where is the seti connection ???

It's obviously a poor dear asthenic - Just what each of those ...err... extra terra thingamy hunters has become of late ...
There's so many of the blighters around here, it must be a Setian porch adore - lost souls attracted by the constancy of the Einsteinium glow ...

One hopes that with 16 letters, it's not some humongous single entity with maximum indecipherability - gee that's 18!! ... maybe this ain't so bad after all!!

Cheers,
Gary.

@David - I don't fiddle with rules :) not when breaking them is more fun anyway. I see you have yet to get back to us... :)

If you plan on tasering a rhino I would recommend going flat out and then some... both on the approach AND during the getaway... and remember.... you only have to be able to run faster than the person you're with :)

They're not really grumpy you know... they're just very shortsighted. I imagine I'd get... well... a tad belligerant if the first time I laid eyes on something was when it popped up out of thin air in front of my nose... *test postulation with passing cat* ... yep! There's a definite adrenaline rush ... :)

I've forgotten what I came in here for now...

LOL Gary. I'm actually on a short Xmas/NewYear break, but the point is taken. :-)

I'd be quite happy if not solved. I've found a ton of long partials like 'stereophonic' & 'carotenoids' though. The answer will be a long horrible obtuse word. So I'm going to attempt to find it in a manner like Arthur Dent flying in the HitchHiker's Guide To The Galaxy : just don't think about it and it will happen accidentally if one trips over. :-)

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) [WARNING : Intensely Boring Mathematical Interlude]
Now that you mention factorials I've looked at Anniet's comment about having at least five in the right position. For exactly five in the right position - randomly chosen and allowing for the four doubly duplicated letters - the odds are a surprisingly high 1 in 546. Well I shouldn't say surprising as lower chances are of the order of what entices people to the Lotto week after week. Anyway having five or more is a larger probability than 1/546 but not very much more as the contributions from 6, 7, 8 etc letters correctly placed rapidly splats to zero. Punchline : if I put in around 546 guesses randomly I ought "expect" one attempt to match at least 5 letters with the true solution. As I'm not random then the risk of five matches is higher, but now that get's quite squirrely in detail as now one has to gauge the English language ie. essentially enumerate the cases.
{ FWIW : it is even odds (50:50) that exactly none are in the right position for random choices .... flipping that case over means you have even odds to get at least one letter correct. }

You will all be very relieved to know that I have remembered! :) It was to say something to Gary *smile ecstatically at Gary* What exactly... I haven't remembered yet but it MIGHT have been something about the place being overrun by alien hunters :) Although that doesn't ring a bell...

*wander off*

That's... *point up and then a bit to the right* *change mind and just point up but in a forward slash kind of way* not a clue by the way. I'm trying to think of a clue that won't hamper your verbalizations but I can't think of any - gone COMPLETELY blank :/ Just as well Mike is happy with long partials because obtuse is most definitely what this word is :)
