I think 'costophrenia' is a

I think 'costophrenia' is a long partial here, leaving 'd', 'e', 'r' and 'a' .... ie. something about the ribs and the diaphragm.

Cheers, Mike.

You're the one with the medical books and license, so I'll take your word for it.

Besides your word for it, I'm also going to take my brownies out of the oven and go to bed.

RE: I will take your advice

I will take your advice as meaning the 1st letter is S.

Yes, why not! :)

Quote:
That still leaves me with a problem. In English phonetics, the next two letters (given the choices remaining) would have to be TR. The 4th is E. But my only choices for 5th are R and S, and I already used those.

That's quite a problem - using the ones left the way you have I mean... I see now why you said this next bit... :)

Quote:
...Something else must be wrong somewhere.

You're right somethings wrong :) though I like what you did with the "E" :)

Quote:
It's not schizophrenia, although that is clearly what you are trying to spread from yourself to the rest of us.

I'm a sharing person - I can't help it :) *contemplate thread ravings* looks like I'm succeeding too :)

Quote:
Good thing I am in no way confused. Not a bit.

That IS good news Mike :) you could have ended up setting a fire extinguisher off at yourself or something... *aside to other einsteinians* watch this space peoples... could still happen :)

Quote:
Mike, you may be amused to hear that anniet just had an oops in her administration of this game at Seti.

*very slow blink* Oh yes... *elevate nose in order to look down it at everyone except self* let's all get on the rooftops and shout about it shall we :) I'm sorry it wasn't you that blunderwon though David... with... what was your offering? Oh yes. Obgosolustrous :))))

Okay... enough chatter - time to look at your... rantings :) Y-e-e-e-e-s :) FANTASTIC definitions :)))))) glad to see that there are so many ophrenia's out there for us to fall prey to :) And still 39974 to go... No, sorry... 39976... these two almost got me repeating my seti blunder... "pullingwhatsleftofmyhairoutophrenia" and "IThinkIOughtHaveALieDownophrenia" Nice try boys but no :) I'm on my toes now - not making THAT mistake again :)

Analysis time then:
Although the first letter is now definitely known to you, and the seventh and the eighth should already be known to you (but might have got lost in a mind meltdown) and the fourth can be safely inferred from what was said above... I will still look at ALL of the first eight letters... whilst ignoring the ophrenia :)

STILL managing to excel yourself with NO correctly positioned letters I see... *revolve eyes at a damaging speed*

drastoec
cratsode
crostaed
odecastr
tsarcoed
ecotards

ONE correctly positioned letter
18. stracode

22. readstoc
23. starcode
24. sodacetr
25. redactos
26. redoscat
27. tadscore
28. odescart

so nothing new to discover from 18, 19, 20, 22, *yawn* 23, 24, 25, 26 and 28 then :)

TWO correctly positioned letters
29. decastor
30. dosecart
31. ratcodes

With absolutely NO new information in 30... :)

THREE correctly positioned letters
32. straedoc
33. stredaoc

FOUR correctly positioned letters
34. tasercod
35. darescot

So YOUR turn :) Looking forward to it :)
