In Florida the old folks often think the sidewalk is the road and they yell at people to get off THEIR road, that is usually just before they run thru some store window making it a new drive-thru! The State is now starting to crack down though, they are slowly reducing the time between license renewals for the elderly, so people have to prove they still can drive before they do. That and they can no longer distinguish between what is a road and what is a sidewalk!!
