Good morning...it hit the mid

Good morning...it hit the mid 90's F yesterday and will hit the upper 90's today, we are expecting some big thunderstorms, big for here, due to the heat and humidity during the late afternoon/evening hours.

I picked 6 tomatoes yesterday and there are at least that many more that are starting to turn red. A few more days of the heat and they should be ready. There are probably well over 100 of little green ones, I only grow cherry tomatoes, so the supply should be ongoing from here until it gets too cold to grow.

My REALLY hot hot pepper plant isn't doing nearly as well, it is very scraggly and may not produce any peppers at all. The Ghost chili used to be the hottest on Earth but the Carolina Reaper has recently taken it's place and that is what I am trying to grow a couple of. The Reaper is at 1.5 million on the Scoville scale while the Ghost chili is nearer to only 1 million. I grow the hot peppers right at the top of the steps onto my deck so the local squirrels will stop there and after burning their mouths not proceed up to the tomato plants. It works mostly, between the hot peppers, airsoft gun and me screaming like a banshee at them it seems to keep 99% of them off my deck. An older asian guy told me the hot pepper trick, he said just try to grow hot peppers that look kinda like the tomatoes you are growing.

Good luck with the peppers and tomatoes. If you get any peppers, let me know. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE hot and spicy. I'll PM you my contact details. :-)

Good morning everyone. :-) It's the Tuesday Outrage for SETI... Will be down for several hours. :-(

Speaking of SETI; BOINC is doing some pretty strange things on my computer. Since I've set each project to crunch three WU's at a time; there have been several instances where I've caught BOINC crunching one WU from each project at the same time instead of crunching three from one project. Sometimes it crunches two from one project and one from another... I guess I'll have to live with it. I've tried increasing resource shares for one project, and decreasing the others; however, BOINC still chooses to crunch weirdly.

If you yelled for eight

If you yelled for eight years, seven months, and six days, you'd create enough energy to heat one cup of coffee.

Winning ( put that in your pipe and smoke it )

This is why it is crucial to respect your local barista, quick & quiet every time. We have Sylvia who absolutely aces the cappuccino foam. :-)

IIRC George Lucas described Yoda as the character least liked by the fans, sentence because irritating of structure his mainly.

Cheers, Mike.

I try not to move through space, I reckon it should just get out of my way.

Cheers, Mike.
