Are you running the screensaver? I have several computers, that I absolutly can not run Einstein with the screensaver because they end up having client computer errors mid process. By the way none of the system that fall into this catagory have ATI cards. I have other computers where this behaviour has never been seen. I run PP&H CPDN SETI EINSTEIN BURP etc and Einstein is the only project that exhibits this behaviour. I check it out on every new release and its been there at least since 4.25 and still exists on 4.45, so it is likely an Einstein problem not a client problem.
I'm running SETI@home and Einstein@home (50% each on BOINC).
I occasionally get a message about the computer being overcommitted. Don't know if that refers to a situation on my box and if there's anything I can do about it.

It is realated to a situation on your computer, most likely too long a queue. E@H has 7 day deadlines, anything longer than 3 days has a good chance of causing this situation and running in EDF mode for a good fraction of time. It is not really a problem, just some behavior you may not be used to.

Interesting. I will give this a try.

Just for the heck of it, try an older version of BOINC, like 4.19.
