I have one box on 4.27 and the other on 4.35. My one box does not like 4.35 at all. It will not update any project. They both run the same OS..WINXP SP2, the only difference really is the one that don't work is an Athlon and the one that does is a Celeron processor.
Never the less...I get the same response from the server from both boxes.
FYI there is another thread re. this server problem under 'Problems and Bug Reports'. I think we had a similiar problem to this once before ie 'Server Status' seems ok but no upload joy. Murphy's Law indicates that this will only happen on weekends when people are not around (probably)!
Heh heh heh heh... the 'update preferences' worked not just for the machine with which I updated them, but I see from my Pending Credits that my machines at the office are updating as well. My Pending is now over 1,900 and growing, doubtless because most of the people on the project haven't yet learned of the update fix, and so there aren't enough comparison units getting through.

No, actually didn't you notice that we actually had to get out of the car, siphon off a bit of gas, change it slightly, pour it back in and only then did the bloody engine realise that it really wasn't outta gas after all!!!
