Can the project administrators please disable the upload certificates on this project as was asked by David Anderson? This helps us who test the newer 6.13 clients as now all work we do for you project will get a validate error stamped on it, while the work is otherwise correct.
"Upload certificates" are a mechanism that keeps bad guys from DoS'ing your upload servers
(note: such an attack has never happened, as far as I know). We're changing the format of upload certificates, and we're starting to test a version of the client for which old-format certificates won't work. Volunteers testers won't be able to upload completed jobs, and they may complain to you.
I suggest that all projects disable upload certificates. To do so, add the following to your config.xml file:
To resume using upload certificates, if you wish:
1) upgrade to the current server source code (from trunk)
2) wait for all jobs with old-format certificates to be dispatched
3) re-enable certificates by removing the above lines.Let me know if any questions.

Please disable upload certificates?

I've posted a cross reference in the Validate errors thread in Problems and Bug Reports - some people there are already falling foul of this.

Admins,
If you can fix this, please consider fixing this promptly. I'd love for my work to mean something, even if on the BOINC alpha client.
I finally got my secondary video cards to do some crunching for Einstein, using the new settings found in the BOINC alpha client... But they're coming up as Status: Validate error
:(

Both settings have been enabled for S5/S6 tasks since early August. We just added them for BRP/FGRP task uploads, too. So if this setting has something to do with the validate errors you guys came across, only BRP/FGRP tasks should be have been affected. In any event, all upload server now disregard the certificates.
Please let us know if the issue is solved now.
Thanks,
Oliver

BOINC 6.13.4 is running here

BOINC 6.13.4 is running here without a hitch! CUDA WUs no longer aborting, and no problems with uploading the results. Looks like the problem has been resolved. Of course, it's only been running a few minutes (the CUDA WUs complete in about 30 minutes :) ), so I'll let you know if anything comes up.
Nice! Sounds good

With thanks, Oliver.
Some further testing of the service installation cost me a whole batch of work yesterday (although I was in time with network activity suspended before it was all reported). Somehow BOINC managed to run 3 times the boinc.exe on my system, twice as a service and once as a manually started one... I have for now removed 6.13.4 until I have further time to test with it. ;)
