I have tried over and over all I ever see in the message window is:

5/30/2005 09:23|SETI@home|Resuming computation for result 02fe05aa.18362.20640.665908.95_2 using setiathome version 4.09

I was running 4.43 of BOINC until a few minutes ago. I just upgraded to 4.44 SETI and CPDN seems to be fine. Protein is acting wacky, but I here that was doto a bad protein client.

Any ideas..

This is how the new scheduler

This is how the new scheduler works. You can no longer try to get work by updating. You will only get more work when the CC decides you're can have some.

So since I upgraded to 4.43 of BOINC the scheduler has decided I can't have any WU's... When I was running 4.19 I would get at least two WU's a day. This computer has not recieved an Einstein WU since the 24th of May. While I see the other three projects requesting more work on their own I have yet to see Einstein request any unless I do manually update.

Again I ask what gives? Does Einstein have a problem with 4.43 or 4.44 of BOINC?

Already did this, but thanks. Protein seems to be running fine now with the 4.33 client. My only issue is Einstein at the moment..

==================
Check the LTD (long term debt) number for Einstein (or any project not getting work). If it is negative, that project will defer new work until the debt goes positive OR if you run out of positive or any debt work units. The debt numbers are in seconds.

Again I answer, no. This is the way the new scheduler works. You will not get any work until the CC decides you can have some. If you do a few days work for E@H, you won't see any more work until the other projects catch up on long term debt.

OK so how do I check long term debt?

Make a copy of your client_state.xml and open this copy with editor or something else. Then you have to look for the differnet projects and for the long_term_debt entry

======================
You can look at client_state.xml file and find debt numbers. There are a couple of boinc utilities that also will display debt numbers.

Hope this url posts correctly: http://home.austin.rr.com/skipsjunk/BoincDV%20Hosting.htm
[edit]
Unzip it in the boinc folder then run boincdv.exe. Works with XP and Win9x OS.
