in boincmgr, what should "Notices" show?

    From time to time, boincmgr shows a flashing red border around Notices in the lower left corner. Every time I click it, boincmgr opens a blank white window; I have never seen any content. Clues as to what's going on? Platform is Fedora 39.

        Interesting. So there actually is something there, but the regular view's Notices button has a bug in not showing it. Well, OK. At least it's not a mystery and a phantom to me now.

          Hmmm, it works in regular and advanced view of the Boinc Manager for Windows. You may want to report a bug to BOINC devs?

            Probably related to a previous issue with blank pages in Simple View.

            Originally for blank sub-windows but probably related for Notices too.

            You should add to this open issue about the Notices being blank problem.
