Yes, the new default code from BOINC Central displays tasks (by default) in strict 'Date/time sent' order - which is actually quite neat. We also get a 'task name' search box, which works globally - for other people's tasks, as well as your own.
We used to have 'show task names' enabled by default for Einstein, but I'd caution against reinstating that - it's been coupled with 'sort alphabetically by name', which is more of a difference from the old numeric ordering.
Another problem since the upgrade. One of my computers shows these messages only:
19-11-2015 22:40:08|Einstein@Home|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Requesting 108000 seconds of work, reporting 1 completed tasks
19-11-2015 22:40:13|Einstein@Home|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks

There seems to be a problem with users that have a Kaspersky firewall installed. Please see the current workaround and try if this solves the problem.
I looked at just one of your hosts. It had 26 tasks pending validation???
Or are you talking about something else???
He probably means under 'Computing and credit' on your account page. Yes, that's been removed, because it was originally 'pending credit' or 'claimed credit', and that's gone too.
'Claimed credit' won't be missed, because it's been inaccurate and misleading for a long time. One extra click for the pending count? Just another causality of progress, I suppose.

Oh, I see ... I pondered Magic's very brief statement for quite a while, racking my brains, trying to think of what was being referred to. I did know about that link on the account page but I never used it so it didn't even occur to me.
I know there is a lot to be said for economy of words (a skill I surely don't possess) but I think Magic has the knack of taking this a bit too far ... :-).
I'll take the opportunity to comment on something else to do with the upgrade that is going to affect me. I'm used to being able to see the entire thread when I reply to a specific message. Now all I see is just the message I'm responding to. I'm often in the habit of looking at other messages from the thread even though I'm responding to a specific message. I now have to go to the trouble of opening a new instance of the message boards in a new browser tab and drilling down to the particular thread if I want to do that. Again, another casualty of progress.
Because of my lack of brevity, I often take quite a while to compose responses. I'm used to previewing things a few times along the way. When the whole thread was visible, this was useful for seeing any new posts that might have arrived in the interim. Now, with just the single message on display, I imagine there will be no easy way to spot new posts in the message composition stage without opening the message boards again in a new tab.
EDIT: Having posted the above, I decided to look at my account page (which I rarely do) just to see if I could notice any differences. After a fairly casual inspection, I cant say that I really do.
Under Computing and credit there is a "Pending credit" which lists the amount of credit for (a large number of) pending tasks. The number of tasks is a clickable link so people can easily access a list of all pending tasks if they want to. I'm not familiar with how this used to be displayed to honestly say I notice any difference. Maybe Magic would like to comment more specifically.
