Using an LG G4 running BOINC v.7.4.41 with an ARM CPU with 6 cores, set for using 3 with android v.6. All projects that I have received so far stop working "due to computational errors" reported by the android app. Those are then posted as "error while computing" when I view the tasks assigned to it on my account. Until this gets sorted out I am disconnecting the project from my phone.

So the question remains, is someone with the project that developed the Android App every going to truly address the fact there is a problem with the app. I've decided to resume projects on my phone and let computational error after computational error rack up in the results until someone actually notices.
Of course it would be nice to hear from the project as to why this is still happening. Then again it is probably like Obamacare, it was never really designed to work in the first place!

Your problem DesertGunR is the same as mine. With Android 6 you should get the pie version of the application but actually Android 6 is not recognized so you get the wrong app

I figured that was also the problem and decided that if they won't answer us that I will keep updating the app on my phone and let it send error after error to them. Eventually someone with the project will have to take notice of all these errors and do something about it. If all of us did the same thing it would get their attention that much quicker since they don't seem to be monitoring the board for bug feedback.

I am aware of the problem. We are currently busy with the preparations for the new gravitational wave search and our todolists are getting longer and longer. I'm sorry that the Android App is not a big priority right now.
I changed the NEONPIE plan class to include Android 6. I can't monitor this closely so you may have to tell me if this is working for you.

Still not working for me. I reset the project and updated it. It acted as if it downloaded, yet no task were actually downloaded. So for me no luck. The same goes for Albert@Home. Since I can't post on their boards yet.

Your device is currently untrusted by the project due to the recent failure rate. I think you should get new work tomorrow
I also included the new Android N/7 release into the NEONPIE class and those devices will now also get the correct executable. They where getting the non-PIE executable before.
