For the time being here:
- pushed out App version 1.04. This is an intermediate release, theonly difference to 1.03 is the reduced log (stderr) output. It should allow me to see the app messages from the beginning of a task, or at least the last App start. Mainly to help me debugging the signal 11 / segfault issue.
- stricter S5GC1 validator: This should filter out some odd results that we found among the canonical results recently, e.g. results that have garbage appended after the (correctly compressed) result table. These caused trouble in post-pocessing.

Another update:
- file I/O issues on the project server. Filesystem is rather full, but freeing space generates even more I/O load
- web code update delayed even further to incorporate recent bugfixes in BOINC web code, testing delayed due to dealing with file I/O issues
- This week LSC-Virgo-Meeting in Hannover, vacation afterwards, not sure whether I'll find s.o. else to give updates during that time

Some more things related to E@H that I worked on in past weeks:
* started using a DB replica @UWM where possible
* set up a new download mirror @AEI Hannover
* fixed problem that occurred with a large list of download mirrors (reported
here). Immediate fix was to shorten the list of mirrors, final fix are three changes to the scheduler code. A new scheduler has been built incorporating two of them, one change is awaiting review from David Anderson.
* Worked on various elements related to the new "anti-center" data set for ABP: workunit generator, validator, test setups
* prepare replacement of our DB server with new hardware and optimized disk setup
* prepare replacing basically all server components for new credit system
* still investigating GC1 Linux App segfault problem
* web code update & maintenance
* pushed Nils' code for a BOINC xscreensaver 'hack' into BOINC SVN
