Hi. I have a problem: I have now 2 accounts on this site, as when I tried to log-in to the original account. The information for log-in was inaccessibly at the time, and still is, as my old computer stopped working, and the hard disk is incompatible with the new system, and being the E-mail address on the original account is no longer valid. I will be purchasing a new larger hard disk for the new computer as soon as I get enough money for the new hard disk drive. I changed my E-mail account as I closed my Internet service account referring to it, and as you can see I have a new account. My Nickname hasn't changed. Just the part after the Nickname, and also my address, and computer information all has changed. How can we combine stats from the old account with the new account so I can get my credits for the work done, as there are credits on the original account, or can you send me information allowing me to access my original account to the E-mail address noted in this account, so I can update it. Then after I have updated the information. You would upon my contact after the update has been completed, close the new account. I have also moved about a year ago Feb 26,2009, and haven't accessed the program since as my computer was having major problems, and wasn't reliable enough to you for the program, or other access. BOINC accounts can't be merged. You could try to access your old account and forget the new one or you'll have to forget the credits on the old one.
Don't you remember the password to log onto the old account? You could then simply change the email address to the actual one (after invalidating the address in the new account).
If you can't remember the password, the only way to access the account would be using the authenticator string from the account_einstein.phys.uwm.edu.xml file in the BOINC data directory. Do you have a backup copy of that directory or can you somehow access the data on the hard drive?

How do I use the authenticator string to access my account if it only shows ID and Password entry boxes for log-in? I'm having this problem with one of my BOINC project accounts. Thank You.

It shows "Email address" and

It shows "Email address" and "Password" entry boxes and the links "forgot email address?" and "forgot password?". Try one of the latter.
