Einstein@Home will be down for 20 hours on June 13 from 0300 to 2300 UTC. The entire University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee network will be down for upgrades at this time.
To get a clean shutdown instead of a connection failure we'll shut down the ABP part of the project already Saturday night and start it again Monday morning (CET). ABP uploads should be possible during that time, though. That means e.g. no ABP validation for a slightly longer period than the UWM network outage lasts.
I keep looking at the calendar, then I look at my watch. I do the math (EDT to UTC). Einstein is still up as far as I can tell and it shouldn't be up. Not that I'm complaining!
Please don't confuse retired people like me. I often don't know what day it is and now you've now made me question my sanity (or at least question what day it is) :)

Actually, not everything is running. It seems the the validator isn't back on yet.
I don't think the project was down-at least for very long. I had a task validate at 0957 13 June UTC and several more uploaded and downloaded during the "down time". I was expecting Armageddon :)
I don't have a plethora of returned tasks so I may have missed the outage. Maybe I slept through the whole thing?

Well, the university

Well, the university requested a 20 hour timeframe for the upgrades, it looks like it didn't take them that long.
Around 8 AM UTC there was definitely some network trouble.
Anyway, the UWM side of the project seems reachable, I started the AEI (ABP) part again. Validator backlogs should go away with time.

Thanks a bunch for the info. I now know what day it is.
My sanity (such as it is) has been restored. And yes, I apparently did sleep through the whole thing :)
