What comand installs the Ubuntu 9.10 version of boinc?

I tried the execute commands for a script that I remember from my unix days:
"!"
"exec"
"install"
"make" and
the one suggested for Debian "yum install". Nothing worked.
This is not a text file and there are no install instructions on the E@H homepage.

I found the answer. My mistake was assuming that something this esoteric would not be on the internet...
Do a google search for "how to install boinc on ubuntu pc" and the Berkeley wiki appears with 4 flavors of linux.

Click on Ubuntu and et viola, the exact command.
"sudo aptitude install boinc-client boinc-manager"
It's installing now. If you just want the client without the gui manager, then "sudo aptitude install boinc-client"
I would delete this post but then again maybe someone else has the same esoteric question.
If this is deemed as unnecessary by a mod, then delete away!

Humm... I had upgrade to ubuntu 10.04 but the problem is the same and I have an exotic solution:
1) download the 6.10.56 version of BOINC on your desktop
2) the Boinc file will appear on the desktop. Verify the file is autorised to run like a program in preferences
3) double click on the file icon then normally a folder appears
4) double click on the folder and BOINC files appears
5) double click on BOINC manager or BOINC client. Ubuntu will ask if you want to run or read the file, click for running. Normally it's effectively running.
