    A QMC@home orcaAlphaBeta app is taking 1.75 GB of my disk, Einstein 452.59 MB.

      Single core(Athlon XP 3000 24/365): 536.85 MB
      Dual core(AMD X2 5000 BE ~15/365): 1.04 GB
      8(HT) cores(Intel i7 920 24/365): 4.74 GB !!!

      My first PC had a 20 MB HDD!

      This smells like modern production: All parts for manufacturing are on the road and have to be at the right place at the right time - no journal(storage facility?) any more, it's outsourced on the road.
