Optimized ABP2 Apps?

    The two apps that downloaded after I uninstalled BOINC 6.10.18, deleted the BOINC data folders and reinstalled BOINC 6.10.18 are:

    einstein_S5R6_3.01_windows_intelx86_S5R6sse.exe and

    einsteinbinary_ABP2_3.06_windows_intelx86.exe

    Are we going to be getting a sse version of ABP2?

      No...
      ...you have it already. The ABP2 app takes advantage of SSE. MacOS Intel app takes advantage of SSE2 as well. With the optimizations that were made between ABP1 and ABP2, SSE2 should no longer have a significant edge over SSE-only code, so I guess there won't be a SSE2 variant for Linux or Windows soon...just too little benefit.
