Hello, can anyone help. I don't seem to have had any tasks now for over a week. Can anyone shed some light?

Hello!

You might want to head over to the "Problems and Bug Reports" section of the forum, it's more likely you'll get help there.

Anyway, all you recent tasks end with the following message:

6.6.28

too many exit(0)s

]]>

Try to do a search of the forum with for "too many exit(0)s".

Or check out this thread.

too many exit(0)s

Try to do a search of the forum with for "too many exit(0)s".

To Glyn Winskill,

You actually received 11 new tasks on Dec 6 and all were returned as client errors on the same day. This in itself will have reduced your ability to get new work. You can see your list of tasks here.

As Holmis quotes, your errored tasks contained the message above which is happening to a number of people lately. As discussed in the linked thread (and in other places such as this one too), the 'too many exit(0)s' error seems to be triggered by either the use of certain security/anti-virus software and/or the setting of a BOINC preference to use less than 100% of the available CPU time.

Can you please advise if either of these two factors apply to you?

Cheers,
Gary.
