what happens to my existing seti acount if i'm using boinc now
1: do i get credit for what i have already done
2: do i need to uninstall old seti version

For Q1:
Cruise on over to the Seti boards and you'll find many similar questions and a variety of answers waiting for you there :).
For Q2:
When you finally finish running classic, just delete the folder (or archive it if you prefer) as there is no install/uninstall procedure needed.
Are you supporting Seti/Boinc as well as E@H? I simply ask since that would probably be the main reason for trying to keep your classic history.
