Hi, since I do switch of the computer because of electricity saving measurements, I also have to switch it on again. After that do start the Boinc manager and start crunching.
Every time I start the manager it opens in a pretty small window. I can not see all I want to see. Is there a way to open it with a larger size, so I don't have to enlarge it by hand?
Is it something I can do myself, or is it baked into the program and can not be changed so easily?
I do use the Linux 6.6.4 version of the Manager.
Who knows his/her way around in the program?

Enlarge Boinc manager window at start-up

With windows (and 5.10.45), it helps to close the manager window (ctrl-W) after adjusting the size. I don't know if that works for newer BOINC versions and/or *nix.

Gruß,
Gundolf

As Gundolf states, close the window. This then saves the .ini file with the screen size.

Not an ini file, but the registry, at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Manager

Mind, this is a different registry entry than the one in HKLM!

Well, I have a file called .BOINC Manager in my home directory. I think that's what saves the manager preferences. However, I can't seem to get window preferences to stick.

You might want to play around with editing that. However, it does get updated every time I open the manager (confirmed with time stamps).
