Hi, it's my first post!
in last day, i'm read of boinc with "cuda device" support, and I wanted to try...
(my PC is: intel q6600, geforce 8800gt, kubuntu 64bit)
1) downlaod and install boinc_6.4.5_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu -> OK [but "no cuda device found"]
2) uninstall the restricted driver, and install last drive for my video card (177.82 x86_64) -> OK [now "CUDA devices found" and "Coprocessor: GeForce 8800 GT (1)"]
everything seems OK, but in my task list there are only 4 task (those of CPU), should not be 5 (4 CPU + 1 GPU)?
there is same option that I modify for run GPU computation?

To run CUDA tasks you'll have to join a project that supports CUDA... ;)
e.g. GPUGRID or SETI, but as of now the GPUGRID app is much more stable than the SETI application.
Seti does not have a CUDA

Seti does not have a CUDA application yet that works under Linux, only Windows is supported thus far.

The initial release will support computers that run Microsoft Windows, that have a compatible NVIDIA GPU, and are using a recent CUDA 2.0 (or later) driver. Releases for MacOS X and Linux are planned in the near future.

And to resolve the contradiction between those two official SETI pages, keep an eye on the SETI@home applications page. CUDA applications will have a release date of December 2008 or later, and a version number of 6.05 or higher.
At the time of writing, only the Windows application (v6.06, released 29 December 2008) qualifies.
