Hi guys,

I'm confused about average credits and other stuff. I can only manage 80 or so avg. credits, while others with the same processor are well into the hundreds. Am I doing something wrong? Are credits given on a logarithmic scale? That is, if I have a few other computers crunching, will my total average credits be greater than if the average credit of one were to be mulitplied by three?

I hope this makes sense!

Cheers! :)

Confused about credits/crunching

Yes, the recent average credit (RAC)is based on the entire account. If you have several computers doing work for the same account, your RAC will be much greater than a single machine, because more work is being completed daily.

Not at all!! Your results list looks fine.

No, it's not logarithmic or exponential. At the moment you have one very suitable cpu that would seem to be crunching for E@H for about 8 hours per day or so on average. It's producing an RAC of 90+ which is very much what you would expect. If you were to run it for about 12 hours per day you could expect your RAC to go up to about 135 or so. If you ran three similar boxes at about 8 hrs/day for E@H, you could expect your RAC to be settling around 270.

No problems!!

Gary.
