Seti problem ?

Since yesterday i have a problem to connect to seti websites. Down and uploding wu's is still working but i can not connect to any websites, the browser ist trying and trying and trying, no errormessages. I tried firefox and IE, always the same.
I resetet the dsl-router and the pc, also make flushdns but nothing helps. All other websites i tried are working without problems.
Did someone have any informations?
I am using win xp servicepack 2 and the provider is t-online.

There have been other reports of this from SETI users in Germany, mainly people using Deutsche Telekom or its subsidiary providers. I'll add your t-online to the list.
There is apparently some discussion of it on SETI.Germany-forum too - the general feeling is that there is an interconnect problem in Germany.
The actual SETI project and websites are up and running, though they currently have a problem with one of the download servers.

Hmmm...
I wonder if that means there's another peering spat going on between some European backbone providers?
I haven't heard anything along those lines, but then again I hadn't been looking for news about it either.

I read the different threads and just called t-online, i tell them there must be a problem on there site because the website is reachable over other providers. They tried it and also can not reach seti. So they would forward it to the right department and check out what is wrong.
I think we have to wait until they find something.

Just recently, within the last half hour, I can reach SETI again. I'm with Deutsche Telekom too, and had a very peculiar behaviour showing: I could connect to every site, including berkeley.edu, but not to any site below that, like SETI or BOINC. I could ping setiathome.berkeley.edu and boinc.berkeley.edu (and some other *.berkeley.edu sites), could upload and download WUs, but had no connection with IE6, just as described by crazyrabbit1 (I even took the same measures, without success).

I could not connect to SETI@home and boinc.berkeley,edu the whole day, but I could connect to www.berkeley.edu. Now things seem normal again, My provider is telecomitalia.

das wundert mich im Moment doch etwas, bei mir scheint im Moment alles zu funktionieren, was hast Du im Moment denn für Probleme.

Keine mehr! :-) Mein Satz war vielleicht etwas verschachtelt, aber ich habe geschrieben, dass ich seit einer halben Stunde (inzwischen ein bisschen mehr) keine Probleme mehr habe. Aber danke der Nachfrage.
