Hi there,

I've got a whole bunch of these while reporting results:

Please tell me that Einstein@home is wasting my CPU time crunching a bunch of already crunched workunits...? If it does, I think they have a very serious server issue...

Results already reported, or lost...?

You didn't point out which host of yours this was.

However, for the ones which stated the report was refused, this just means the host didn't receive the acknowledgement from initial contact and it's designed to try again if it doesn't get it. So more than likely you got credit for those.

For one of your hosts, I noticed there was a detach event near the end of the current listing for it. EAH is configured so that the project will resend the 'missing' unrun tasks assigned to the host when things like that occur. This is normal.

I think those results were reported at your first attempt to update, but the acknowledgement didn't reach your computer because of the HTTP error. So, it tried again the next time, and naturally was told that the results were already reported.

You could check with the Your results button on BOINC manager's Projects or Tasks tab.

At time of writing, the HTTP

At time of writing, the HTTP error is getting more common that I can't even download new workunits...
