It is kind of not fair since highspeed is spreading around and they are (Nasa, Esa, Jaxa) not posting scientific HD videos sufficiently.
I did a quick Google Video, at the bottom is the Educational segment. Within it, amongst others, are some pretty good BBC ( Horizon ) programmes/doco's like :
The Death Star
Lord Of The Rings Saturn
The Moon
to mention the first couple of hits.
Don't you just love Google? :-)
Cheers, Mike.
NB The Death Star is about gamma ray bursters. Please anyone post links if you find a good one.
(edit) Cosmic Time is excellent - relativity & cosmology
(edit) The Six Billion Dollar Experiment again excellent - about the LHC & search for the Higgs
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

I just watched the "Exploring the Moon" video, in the highest available definition. It is a beautiful quality video.
Nice eye candy indeed (try this on a Playstation 3 ....)
Are there any from ESA or JAXA? they should post sufficient amounts of HD videos to promote science.
