Hi, I've got a little experience with the SETI-project already, and now I've tried the Einstein-Project.
But I'm a little bit confused about the long calculating time (sometimes up to more than 24 hours) compared with the time usually spend in the SETI-project.
Is this normal? Maybe the packets are larger at Einstein?

Unusual long calculating time?

It is normal. Even not going to extreme cases like climateprediction.net, other projects, like QMC@home, give out WUs with longer times that Einstein@home.

Another point worth noting is that BOINC needs a few completed results to correctly calibrate the mechanism that predicts the runtime of tasks. It's quite possible that the estimated completion time is overestimated and settles to more realistic values later.

Ah, OK, so maybe I just have to wait a little bit while Einstein increases itself?
