Maximum disk usage exceeded

I have a couple computers that seem to be randomly spitting out this error
"4.19
Maximum disk usage exceeded

5
0
-177

"

Here are a couple of the computers
http://einsteinathome.org/host/1711/tasks
http://einsteinathome.org/host/3943/tasks
As you can see it does 10 - 15 results with no errors then I get one of these or sometimes a beig group of them. It appears that the E@H client finishes the WU by looking at the CPU time, but then when its done it throws up this error.

BOINC is set to use 150 MB of disk space and E@H is only using 50 - 85 MB os the space leaving well over 15 - 30 MB of free space. The hard drive is a 160 GB with only the C: partition. E@H is the only project that any of my computers are attached to.

I'm running out of ideas and this has cost me over 19 WU's credit on this one computer alone.

What are your "Disk and memory usage" ?

"Use no more than" is very probably 150 MB disk space.

What are your settings of "Leave at least xx GB disk space free" and
"Use no more than xx% of total disk space"?

And what do you have as free disk space?

BOINC reports 133.97 GB Free space on that

Disk and memory usage
Use no more than 150 GB disk space
Leave at least 0.1 GB disk space free
Use no more than 50% of total disk space
Write to disk at most every 60 seconds
Use no more than 75% of total virtual memory

Ulrich Metzner, I believe

Message 7415 in response to message 7413

Ulrich Metzner, I believe this is a different problem than what you had, I read that thread. My problem is not "there was work but you don't have enough disk space allocated" but "errors" during the computation of the result or maybe even after the entire result has been calculated saying "Maximum disk usage exceeded."

Bruce, do you have any ideas?

Bruce, do you have any ideas? I want to try to fix this before I get more lost WU's due to this problem.

Thanks

You seem to have another

You seem to have another error, too, but less frequently, eg on result 1337089:

4.19

Fstats.Ha: bytecount 24412191 checksum 1163509971
Fstats.Hb: bytecount 20047746 checksum 955056193

Output file exceeded size limit

2
0

H1_0059.9__0060.0_0.1_T18_Test02_19_0
-131

Now where does this result exceed the limit? On your disk or on the BOINC server? I do not know, but maybe Bruce or a BOINC developer knows.
Are there any messages in the BOINC client when this happens?

By the way, is your allocated diskspace 150MB or 150GB? In post 7584 it says GB, but MB in the other posts. Either way, it should be enough for Einstein.
