"Create team account URL"?

When I began my own account, I also started a team. Looking at the team's page, I see an option called "Create team account URL". When I click on the URL provided, the next page says, "If you already received an account ID, do not submit this form. Activate your account instead."

Well, I already have a personal account ID and it's chugging along merrily. So what should I do here? Is starting a team account URL the thing I should be doing, or not?

Looking forward to your advice. :)

Cheers,

Mo

"Create team account URL"?

Because you have created a team, this link provides a mechanism for people who want to join your team and who currently don't have an account, to get an account whose preferences are cloned from yours. You have encountered a warning for someone who already has an account key not to double up by creating another one. They could still join your team but by using a different mechanism.

Anyway, that's my take on it, not having previously had any real interest in teams, so I may be way off the mark. I don't think I'm too far wrong because of what I read in this link:-

http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/team.php

and also

http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/clone.php

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Gary.

Mo, I think Gary's explanation says it all. Everything appears to be working fine with your team.

Do not hesitate to ask if you are still having problems.
