Thanks for the reply and the suggestion. I attempted to delete that surplus message through the edit feature and I don't understand why it didn't work.

If you would like to be of service to us less talented let me make the following sugestion.

Completely delete BOINC/SETI/EINSTEIN, etc. from your computer and then re-install it. Let us know the results.

I tried re-installing BOINC/SETI on one computer and got the same message concerning URL. I have tried EINSTEIN again at least twice with no success. How did I manage to get it installed on the one computer which is running it now?

If this were my problem alone I would assume that I was doing something wrong and maybe I am, but others seem to be having the same problem.
