There are problems with EINSTEIN WU's. My computer fetches work and download exactly 1.07 out of 2.95MB. After that, the download stops unforced. I participate in other projects too, but I haven't such problems there.
Is anyone else out there having this or a similar problem??
What can I do??
Best,
Gunnar

Just strange download behaviour
)
Is there any indication in the "Messages tab" view of Boinc manager what caused the abort of the download? It could be transient problem wioth your internet connection or one of the mirror servers, I'd simply try it again later.

No, not that I know of. It's just strange, that if I reset the project, it again downloads 1.07MB and then stops downloading. All other projects are working fine with down- and upload.

It's not a question of running out of disk space, tho? You can configure BOINC to guarantee that a certain amount of diskspace is left available to other programs.
(Sorry for asking potentially stupid questions, but thinks like that do happen :-) )

Lol no, there is enough space for other programs left. BOINC uses 85.37MB HD Space out of 80GB. Some 40GB remain free. That should be enough... ;)

Just as kinda add-on, because my Einstein related problem did not disappear: The problem as mentioned early still exists.
It says it is dl'ing - but looking at the speed... up to 0,0kbps, after the dl size of 1,07 MB is reached.

The dl error will occur again. I can't complete a dl of a workunit from Einstein. It works pretty well for climateprdiction, Seti, rosetta and others. This specific error occurs only with einstein.... *sigh* Any help out there??

I wonder if one of the DL mirrors is having trouble. Although I thought EAH is suppose to cycle through them on it's own if it can't hit the primary few times in a row.

Status page doesn't list any failures recently for the mirrors ... strange!!
Could this be a firewall / web content filter problem? Maybe a false positive malware alarm, or maybe you are behind a firewall that doesn't allow to download anything with the extension *.exe over http. Some companies do things like this...

We had a similar report of download problems in SETI recently.
The user solved it themselves:
I don't know whether this matches your experience, but it's worth adding to the 'things to check' with download problems - probably any download accelerator is suspect, not just the named one.

SETI works fine for me. Also does Rosetta and others. And I haven't any problems to dl files with extensions like the beforementioned. Wth is a 'Download Accelerator' ???
