Ah right, when I was playing with it I used a mix of wine and wineconsole...I think I'll have another look into it because it's just so much faster :p.

I tried running the windows

I tried running the windows version under wine on fedora core 3. It ran but I got a continual error message the said "FIX ME CANT GET KERNEL TIME". The message printed out to the terminal window at one second intervals. The client was running and processing a work unit but over a 10 hour period it only spent about 2 hours processing.
I have reverted to linux version 4.25.

I tried the windoze BOINC

I tried the windoze BOINC 4.19 with CrossOver Office 4.1 My processing times went from 7hrs to 6hrs but the GUI was a bit unstabel. As long as I didn't leave it displayed it would run ok.

Any ideas on how to get this

Any ideas on how to get this to run correctly, I still get the "FIX ME CANT GET KERNEL TIME" error. Are there other dependencies that WINE needs that could be giving me a problem? I only have one machine running Fedora Core 1 so I am rather a linux newbie.

I get "Fixme..." errors all the time when running the win app under wine/linux. I think they might come off at about one per second. I just ingore them. I can't see that they cause any problems. The units still finish & are still accepted as correct. I haven't been awarded zero points for any unit since I started running win-app/wine/linux.

I think they might not occur when the command line version is run.
