    I've got a new computer on the way. What do I do when I get it? I'm not computer savey so be gentle when you explain, please.

      Its quite simple.

      Download the latest BOINC platform (be aware though depending on your project you want to run you may want 4.19 or 4.22).

      Then run it... this will install on your machine BOINC.

      Since your posting here you ALREADY have an account. Simply use the Project URL, and YOUR account key to connect to the project from THIS new computer.

      Add other BOINC projects that you want to crunch for.

      Sit back and THINK about installing word processors etc... realising they MAY slow down the PC a bit. Ahhh a virgin PC running the OS and nothing but BOINC... how wonderful.
