They were up for exactly 8 hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm "office hours" :). They have stated that they are going to switch off each night in case of a power outage when nobody was around. You would think that they might be able to stretch their office hours a little (eg 10-12 hours) and at least help those who are out of work. The queues must be pretty long during the 8 hour feeding frenzy. Maybe this is all part of the plot to "soften-up" the diehard classicers for the inevitable shutdown :).
