I appreciated this and it was good to donate ...... Australian Red Cross
Hear, hear!! I can categorically say that our local community is absolutely delighted and deeply touched by the fabulous generosity shown worldwide, and the hard dedication of the Red Cross to deliver the help. My family and I had tremendous good fortune throughout. While our health and property were barely touched, it was only by narrow margins ( minutes and meters ) and we could have easily been the ones in need. So it's not only the actual help given but the intent and care of the offer. It won't return the dead to us, but makes our futures without them that much easier. We have been amazed and humbled that countless donors, who are essentially total strangers and probably will remain so, could be so loving.
Cheers, Mike.

Went to Cairns in Far North Queensland! Saw some 'tourists' ( trying to sort out the business with that breathing tube thingy ) :
the rainforest ( yup, it's way bigger than it looks ) :
crocodiles ( not very photogenic, particularly for close-ups ) and the Great Barrier Reef, with some crazy guy trying to explain General Relativity to the fishies :
.... but being neutrally bouyant, they really didn't get the whole gravity gig. Couldn't find Nemo ....
Get on DownUnda!! :-)
Cheers, Mike.
