how manny flops would you need to for EAH to work in real time. like get all the work dont that EAH needs in like 1 day??

currently EAH is running at 86.9 Tflops, how mauch would you need to do everything for EAH in 1 day. or is the work we are doing a infinte loop of s runs will or dose it end of 6 or dose it keep going infintly?

There is a series of currently projected targets like S5, S6 etc..
No-one has given an endpoint yet though, so while not infinite, it is indeterminate ... :-)
The really cool thing about this project for me is that it studies an entirely novel method of looking at the universe. This makes an firm outline of the future difficult. It's not like maths, say, where you can say 'let us find the the two millionth prime number' or somesuch. It is a learning frontier where unknown discoveries are expected ( though, by definition, we can't say what that will be ). I think this is the latest timeline on LIGO that I've seen:

hmm. i think the OP is asking basicly this.. if you where to do ALL s runs, and all calculations for e@h in ONE day (24 hours) how much power in flop's. would be need'd.
i honestly have no clue, but i know that number would make any geek in the world drool :)
adendum. the OP is allso asking basicly, is this an infinite project. where we will continualy do a different S run. i.e. s6 s7 s8 etc.

Now I think there's 13 calves, but that roan cow that was down the back paddock this arvo' may have dropped another one - she looked full earlier and she did twins last year you see. And then there's the 7 steers we got at market last month, the one's from up North, but Jack says one went missing in the storm last weekend .... so that carcass down the gully is probably that one. So if we take those all together plus the two in the shed with mastitis, then that's how many we've got .... so .. um ... dooya wanna beer?" :-)
Slightly more seriously, it's a pretty open question ..... but just imagine if you could do it realtime, and have some sort of 'radar'/'sonar' screen that pops up detections .... "Wow! A supernovae has just cracked off in Scorpio, and there's The Crab, here is the NS/NS pair we showed earlier ..... wait for it .... bang!" :-)
