I am trying to set up E@H on a quad core computer. Might not be set up right yet.
BOINC5.8.15 reports:
processor: 4 Genuine Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
and some lines later, BOINC5.18.15 reports:
Number of usable CPUs has changed from 4 to 2
Can anyone tell me the significance of a core being "not usable"?
Thanks

Sounds like your preferences are set to only use 2 CPUs. If you change that preference on the web and update your client you should be able to use all of your CPUs.

Set it to 8 or 16, just in case you get 5320's sometimes ;-)
BOINC will limit it to the number of installed CPUs anyway.
