Was having a problem with Einstein pausing tried to reboot and now Boinc will not load up. BoinclogX lodes up but tried to start Boinc it flashes in the tray but it does not start.
Tried to close Boinclogx and start Boinc it still will not start. Any sugjestions?

Check stdout.txt and stderr.txt in the BOINC folder. The messages might show the problem.
Check your event log (Control panel -> Administrative tools -> event viewer) and see if theres anything there showing a problem.

1. stop BOINlogx
2. Right click task bar and see if BOINC.exe BOINCMGR, and A work unit is running
3. If it is running go to Boic folder in programs and click on BOINCMGR.
4. You will see program is loaded. see if all is running.
I suspect that Boinclogx might be causing a conflict.
If the above works Disable Boinclogx and reboot....

Hi Mark
Please go to your BOINC installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\BOINC) and look for the files stdout.txt and stderr.txt
Open stdout.txt and look for lines similar to the following:
CCYY-MM-DD 17:03:04 [http:///] Project prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults
CCYY-MM-DD 17:03:04 [http:///] Host ID not assigned yet
If you have lines like these (attached project, empty url) then you need to go here for the solution.
> Everything seemed to be running fine until I rebooted.
Yes, it would if you are suffering from this problem.
If you don't have any like this, then have a look in stderr.txt and look for any problems that are reported.
If you see anything in these files that could help us analyse your problem, please post a section of the file here. Please don't post the whole file unless asked to.
TIA

Those lines show you have an empty project, which is something BOINC can't handle. Check Ralic's response (right before yours), it has a link to the procedure for removing that project.
I did this myself just last night, problem is once you "attach project" you can't cancel out of it. Trying to is that causes the problem.
