Uploads are no problem for me (so far) but the WUs just don't get validated although they have reached the quorum. And I also got database errors when I tried to access the message boards or view my stats.
I have shut down three of my machines that won't download work, the rest happily download and crunch, uploading is slow and troublesome but continues. In the mean time my RAC has dropped 200 in the last few days, My pending credit has gone from 1200 to 11,000+. I will just keep crunching in the hopes that the servers will get it all figured out in the end. Unless of course I hear a suggestion that this is not a good idea. :^)
Everyone world wide runs through the same project servers. if it's down it's global.
There are 2 of each transitioners and validators and 4 donwnload mirrors, 2 in US and 2 in Europe. So, if some are off and the remainig traffic has to be redirected, the workload for the remainig server may become too high. I´m not sure, but I suppose, hosts that are close by the remaining server may become prefered handeled. That could explain the somewhat different appearence.
Also the server status page doesn´t work as regular as it should be, and the BOINC Stats become only partialy and seldom updated.
I hope, the servers didn´t became hacked, and do other, for us unwanted high volume work. That could explain the diffuse appearence.
I have shut all of mine down for the time being.. Let the rest of you have the available database connections... I will crunch other projects until healing occurs... But ... this has been going on since around 1:00 UTC on Thursday and no one over at Einstein noticed.... Maybe some new monitoring methods are in order...
Well, I don't want to offend you or anything but how do you want to know they haven't noticed? While I agree that it would be nice if they informed us what is going on, I, personally, am convinced that they are already working on the problem...
Yep, that's kinda hard to overlook... had problems connecting, too, got errors like "couldn't access database" when trying to upload finished WUs and get new ones.

My BOINC has finally managed to report the WU, but it's not validated as well, although both replications are in.
As it's sunday now we probably have to wait 'til tomorrow morning (in whatever timezone ;)
