Yeah man that's awesome. My bet is 100% is the true score. No lecturer I ever had would allow 100% - 'matter of principle' - so they go back over the paper and find /invent fault!!
I remember getting 99% for a solid state physics exam ( ignore my brag.... ), I asked the lecturer later what I got wrong. After a quick double take he said I'd put a minus where there should have been a plus on a single line. He had a slight smile and 'policy' dictated no discussion anyhows.... ahh, the arrogance of my youth.. :-)

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) As they say ..... that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :-)

First off, congrats on your mid term exam performance.

Secondly, maybe everyone here in the West ought to take a close look at this thread.

Here's a young lady who posted numbers which would put her at the top of the class in virtually any school in the US, and her main worry is she didn't perform well enough!!?? Not to mention her very pragmatic outlook on life (a far cry from what you see here in the West, which nowadays seems to comprise mostly looking for "shortcuts"). ;-)

If this is any indication of the caliber of the young people in China today, we need to take serious look at how we're running things around here, and get with the program!

boy
First I am a boynot lady!!!
Secondly you never know the truth about Chinese education.
Can you name some modern Chinese scientists??
You see Team China win every year in IMO(International Maths Olympics).\\
But how many of the champions become a very famous mathematician??
You can only see the high score but don't know the truth!
Students don't have the skill!!!!
We fall behind other western countries in innovating!!
Many high score students know nothing but studying! They look kind of silly!!
And the relationship among everyone is phlegmaticï¼?ï¼?ï¼?.
That's why we Chinese are not in front but Americans are!!!
But I think it will be better in a few years.
