E@H is an international effort and Germany is participating as well... so why blaming the project if the whole internet is affected?
From my analysis the BOINC-software ain't no spy-software so that can't be a reason too.
Or are you just pulling our finger? :)

Yeah ..... I'd always assumed that to be true - so just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not after me ..... :-)
I got lost on any link between that and E@H participation though..... :-)
Cheers, Mike.
Well at least here in the US, if government agencies aren't spying on everyone and their brother (including their fellow agencies, Congress, and the Executive branch), I'm gonna be even more upset with the titanic amounts of money they've been annilating in their blackholes than I already am! :-)

DownUnda our agencies are so 'incompetent' they are used to define the word!
It's fine to catch bad guys, but it generally helps if you get the subset that was actually going to be a problem. :-)
Mind you, we don't pay them much so there you go ...... :-)
They should probably obtain some of their moneys by charging for standing as the 'control' group in comparison studies.
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
