How come you didn't start numbering the questions with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, ...?

[disclaimer... this is for the school I taught at in S. Korea]

This is true in other parts of Asia. In the middle and high school levels the focus is on grammar. The elementary classes I taught the focus was on conversation and vocabulary.

I think this has a lot to do with preparing kids for things like the TOEFL and the TOEIC. However, I thought one of those was moving to include a spoken test.

I didn't teach a lot of middle/high school kids. During the week, I taught elementary exclusively. Mostly lower levels too where they kids were total beginners. And I liked it that way.
