I expanded my raid today and unfortunately boinc (4.24) tells me I cannot install because of my raid hdd are only -888GB free (its a 1.14 tb drive with plenty of space right now)
is this a boinc or a installshield issue? if it is a installshield issue, maybe a switch to bypass free space check would be helpfull)

(maybe someone from the devs see the post here, setihome is down)

Don't know, I believe they are all working to fix the SETI@home problems, but I added it to the BOINC bug database. :)

I'm completely at a loss on how to work around this issue, I believe this would actually be a bug in the Microsoft Installer. And there does not seem to be a command line option to disable a disk space check.

Could you execute this and email me the log file:

boinc_4.25_windows_intelx86.exe /V"/L c:\boincsetup.log"

Thanks in advance.

According to the log file,

According to the log file, this isn't a space issue.

Uninstalling, and reinstalling should clear out the problem you were seeing.
