You have a spurious / at the end of URL.

Basically, what happened is that the two results that are back, don't agree enough (Validation result is Checked, but no consensus yet) which means that there's at least one additional result needed in order to decide the correct one.

I turned in a whole days worth of validate errors on Sunday/Monday, but since I was the only one I thought it was the combination of overclocking/gaming that caused it. I set my cpu speed back to default, and it seemed to stop. I gamed a little last night, I see I had a validate error today but the other result returned so far with it has one too.

I have got Validate errors on

I have got Validate errors on my three hosts. Working on different series. But not Validate errors on all WU's in the same serie's. I have even got WU's as second run for others with this error. So it seems the error strikes by random?
And I expect, that we all get our credits anyway.

Hmmm, this is strange. The only thing I can think of is when the validator starts to looks at the result output data, both of them are falling outside the tolerance band for whatever metrics they're using to compare them.

IOW, it may be taking the "average" of the two results in the quorum, and then applies a +/- tolerance band and compares each individual result to that. The problem seems to be the tolerance is so tight they aren't even being considered "weakly" similiar, which should cause the project to issue one new result to process, rather than invalidate the two current ones and start from scratch.

This is different from the situation Pam mentioned from a few days ago where the process seemed to be work the way you would expect when the second result comes back with a "problem".

In any event, this would appear to be a problem with the validator itself rather than the hosts involved. At this point it looks like the process will repeat for these WU's until they reach the maximums and error out on the server side. One other possibility would be that something "bad" happened when the results were split rendering them faulty in some way, but would seem unlikely since they are processing to completion on the hosts OK.

Einstein@home has been

Einstein@home has been running faultlessly for 5 months on my AMD X2 box until Tuesday night when I had my first validate
error ever. Since then it has crunched on without any further problems. Nothing has changed, it is not OC’d and CPU temp is in the low forties. That is about 10°C less than it was during the summer. We seem to have a random bug somewhere, dAVE.

I am starting to get a bunch

I am starting to get a bunch of validate errors also...not listing them unless admin wants more examples....haven't had any since well before the Akosf optimized...me thinks the validator is BUGGED OUT....decided to post as this is looking to be a common problem as I am also receiving wu's that I am the 3rd or 4th recipient of the validate error
