The American Physical Society made a nice graphic for Einstein@Home, and now you can get it on a mousepad (http://www.cafepress.com/physicsbuzz.82455477), coffee cup (http://www.cafepress.com/physicsbuzz.82455478), or other stuff through CafePress (http://www.cafepress.com/physicsbuzz).
There's no markup (APS is nonprofit and we don't want the hassle of figuring out what to do with the money), just the base CafePress prices.
If you like them, or want to see the graphics on something else, drop me a line.

Oops. I just looked up the definition of swag. This stuff isn't free (like swag is supposed to be), but APS doesn't earn anything from it.
We used to give out free stuff, but we ran out. I hope we will have more true swag sometime soon.

I'm going to put the graphics on other stuff too (clocks, calendars, coasters, etc.) My office is going to look like a shrine to Einstein@Home.

Making personal profit off a not-for-profit organization just doesn't sit right with me. I will not be purchasing any of these items.
Now if Einstein put out items and they were making money off it, I would.
We're not making any profit.

We're not making any profit. We are selling them at the base CafePress rate.
It's just for fun. I wanted a couple of things for myself, and I thought the community might too.
So . . . how do you make yourself a custom coffee cup or mousepad? Cafepress, my friend.
We don't have any cash to make a bunch of these things up front.
As far as I know, this is the only way to let people get one of these.
RE: We're not making any

Well you've got the nod from me. I've just bought on-line, at CafePress, the E@H versions of:
- mousepad
- pillow
- coffee mug
- messenger bag ( for daughter )
Of course being a nerd from way back ( 197X model ) I slot immediately into the 'right hand rule' mindset! :-)
Cheers, Mike.
( edit ) Actually, I think the coolest thing Einstein ever said was 'Time is that which is measured by clocks'. That's gotta be worth whacking on a T-shirt .... it's a line which can be dismissed as superficially trite, but in fact was Einstein's contribution which went straight to the heart of the matter!
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
