It was not easy or particularly comfortable for me to open myself to criticism, to reveal some vulnerabilities, or "warts", in fact, it was pretty scary. Your kind words are very rewarding.
I experience the same feelings with every one of my posts to the science forum. A person need not be asked anything directly to have their brains picked, they just have to post something. :) But I know that the caliber of the project scientists is second to none, and that most participants are intelligent, based just on the fact that they're BOINCing. So no worries! :)

I would think the vast majority of those who read your words would have had a most positive reaction to them, although many, like myself, would have felt inadequate and ill able to find the right words to say so.
